20’s Plenty Sticker Campaign

Share this post:

Dollar resident Angus Myles approached the Trust with a creative idea to increase road safety.

His idea was to try put stickers on bins along the Burnside, Manse Road and Tarmangie Drive to provide a visual reminder to keep speeds to 20 miles per hour (mph) in these areas.   The aim is to increase safety along these routes particularly for school children.

With the support of Dollar Community Council’s Micro Grants Scheme and the EDF Bunfoot Hill Community Fund the Trust has acquired 500 ’20 mph’ stickers.  Angus will be going door-to-door in those streets to encourage residents to take part.

If you don’t live in one of these test streets but you would like a sticker for your bin then please e-mail us at dollar.cdt@gmail.com subject heading ’20 Sticker’.

*As bridge street and Devon Road are 30 mph areas stickers obviously cannot be used in these areas.
