Stephen Beirne Optometrists

Business Description

Hi, My name is Stephen Beirne and I qualified as an Optometrist in 1997. I opened my first practice in 2016 in Stenhousemuir and followed this by opening in Dollar in 2018. My aim was to have local practices that provided quality eyecare and quality eyewear in a friendly, unrushed and professional environment. I want to look after my patients as best I can for life. I am lucky to have been able to open in such a beautiful setting under the ochils. NHS eye exams are free in Scotland and everyone should be tested regularly (symptoms or not). I supply frames from all the leading brands and the frame selection is refreshed regularly. I supply the best available contact lenses : monthly, daily, gas permeable varifocal! . I am always striving to enhance services…I recently obtained an OCT Scanner which is the latest equipment to detect early signs of glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration, I have been accredited to fit myopia control spectacle lenses to slow progression of myopia in children and am looking to provide orthokeratology, which allows patients to wear gp contacts to sleep and nor to have to wear any correction the following day! Children should have there eyes examined from 2 to 3 yrs old and I cater for that age in practice with different test pictures etc.

Give us a call to see the difference in eyecare!
