Dollar Community Council provides a link between the community and the elected members and officers of Clackmannanshire Council and all statutory bodies, (e.g., Forth Valley Health Board, Central Scotland Police, the public utilities and such), and as far as it is able, to provide impartial help and assistance to the community in general, to promote community spirit and to keep the community informed of matters of public concern.

Dollar Community Development Trust works in partnership with the Community Council as set out in our Memorandum of Understanding (See below). In practical terms this means we work closely together on projects that make Dollar a better, more vibrant, place.
