New Housing and Sports Facilities:

The trust has been working closely with the community council to encourage attendance at the public consultation meetings for the proposed substantial new housing developments and a Dollar Academy sports facility built to the south and east of Dollar.

Keeping up with the latest developments

We understand that the meetings were very well attended with many opinions expressed both for and against.  We will provide regular updates as soon as we know more.

If you would like to look into things further the PPCA, who are handling the planning of the development, have provided us with their ‘Dollar Masterplan’ which you can read [HERE]

A further Public Consultation Meeting was held on the 1st of August at the Dollar Civic Centre.  An updated, more detailed plan has been provided see the link below:

Improving play park facilities

We are working with a group of young people from Ochil Youths Community Improvement (OYCI) who have carried out a survey to give us ideas on the best ways to improve Dollar’s play parks.

Old fashioned fun!

We are greatly looking forward to receiving their report!
