Pre and Post Natal fitness (Barre)

Starting on February 8th, we will be offering an exercise class at 5.45-6.45pm on Tuesdays at the Hive. Until the end of March, these sessions be offered at no cost to participants thanks to funding from the Communities and Mental Health Fund.  

Perinatal Barre is specifically designed for pre and postnatal bodies. The classes are tailored to individual needs, with a focus on posture, strength and relaxation.

For expectant mothers, Barre classes are a great way to address postural issues as your baby grows, and to maintain strength as you prepare (and then recover from) birth.
For postnatal women, Barre allows a gentle, low impact return to exercise at your own pace. It rebuilds strength, leading to a faster recovery and helping with the physical demands of motherhood.
These classes also offer time and space to focus on yourself, your body and your health (it is not a class that you can bring your child to).
