Wondering how to prepare effectively for your baby’s arrival? Come along and learn effective techniques that have been clinically proven to reduce labour pain.
Over the course of 4 weeks you and your partner will learn a variety of practical and effective ways to prepare positively for a more relaxing birth experience.
You will learn easy to use relaxation and visualisation methods that you can use throughout your pregnancy – and during the birth – to enable your body to birth your baby with ease. There will also be breathing exercises and plenty of discussion about what to expect. You’ll hear about different comfort measures that you may wish to choose between and how best to work with your support team. Each evening will offer you the opportunity to experience a deep relaxation, allowing you to gradually acknowledge and let go of any worries you have and plan for the birth you desire.
Learning how to relax deeply will allow your body to get on with birthing your baby when the big day comes, no matter what is going on around you. And your partner and you will have had plenty of opportunity to discuss how they will help you – what you would like them to do and how they can best support you.
This course is funded by the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund and places are therefore free for parents. As such, priority will be given to Dollar residents. To book your place please email: email@example.com
