Open Gardens 2022

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2022

Gardens Open: 1.30pm to 4.30pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Cafe: Teas/Coffees and home baking at the Hive: 1pm to 5pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Cost: £7 per ticket, under 16s free

All proceeds raised will go to Strathcarron Hospice and Dollar Community Development Trust to support our activities in Dollar.

See the attractive town of Dollar and view a diverse range of gardens, some of which are new to being open to the public. When you buy a ticket you will receive a map showing the locations of all the 25 gardens plus a brief description of each so you can plan a route to take you round the ones which interest you the most.

Plant sale – 11am to 4pm at the Hive
Dollar’s annual Plant Sale by the Dollar Horticultural and Garden Club will be in the community marquee from 11am to 4pm.There will be plants for sale, grown and provided by local horticulturalists from the Dollar Horticultural and Garden Club.

Sustainability Festival 2022

This year’s Sustainability Festival will be at the Hive from 1pm to 4pm, the theme is biodiversity and there will be lots of fun, free and interactive activities for children and families click here for more info.

How to get your tickets and map
Tickets go on sale from Monday 9th May and can be bought from Dollar’s Deli, Devlin’s, the Sorting Office and the Hive. Tickets are also available on the day from the Hive (Park Place FK14 7AA) and in the shops (Dollar’s Deli, Sorting Office and Devlin’s).

Parking on the day
You can park at the following locations:

  • Mylne Avenue (Dollar Academy’s car park)
  • Dollar Health Centre (Park Place)
  • Strathdevon Primary School (Park Place)
  • The Hive (Park Place)

There is also free on-street parking around the town.
